Overview
Scharlau Ammonium Formate, Eluent Additive for LC-MS is a water-miscible, high-purity additive used to prepare LC-MS mobile phases. According to the official Scharlab specification, its iodometric assay is at least 97% and it passes the LC-MS suitability test. Aluminium, barium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lithium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, strontium and zinc are limited to max. 1 ppm; calcium, lead, magnesium, potassium and sodium are limited to max. 5 ppm. Its formula is HCOONH₄, molar mass is 63.06 g/mol, and CAS number is 540-69-2.
