Water, HPLC Gradient Grade is high-purity water for HPLC gradient elution and analytical chemistry applications. According to the official Scharlab specification, chloride is max. 0.00002%, nitrate max. 0.00003%, sulfate and residue on evaporation each max. 0.0001%, and lead max. 0.1 ppm. Maximum gradient-elution absorbance is 0.01 AU at 210 nm and 0.001 AU at 254 nm. The product is microfiltered through 0.22 µm pore-size membranes. Its formula is H₂O, molar mass 18.02 g/mol, and CAS number 7732-18-5.
