Scharlau Acetonitrile, UHPLC-MS is a high-purity solvent for UHPLC-MS analysis. According to the official Scharlab specification, the assay is at least 99.9%, water is no more than 0.01%, and residue on evaporation is no more than 0.0001%. Density (20 °C/4 °C) is 0.779–0.783 and acidity is no more than 0.0002 meq/g. The product passes the UHPLC-MS suitability test; the ESI+ test is max. 5 ppb reserpine and the ESI− test is max. 20 ppb digoxin. It is microfiltered through membranes with a pore diameter of 0.1 µm. Its formula is CH₃CN, molar mass 41.05 g/mol, and CAS number 75-05-8.
