Product Guide
Shaft hub
A shaft hub is the central mounting interface between a shaft and a rotating transmission component such as a pulley or coupling element. Bore, fit, keyway or clamping arrangement and torque capacity define suitability. It is distinct from a complete coupling and from a separate taper locking bushing.

Applications and workflows
Typical workflows help you define the application and compare suitable product configurations.
- Mechanical power transmission and drive maintenance
- Industrial machine assembly and documented replacement planning
Technical selection criteria
Include these parameters in your inquiry to align laboratory users, technical teams and purchasing.
- Shaft bore tolerance, keyway or clamping interface and hub length
- Torque, speed, alignment and duty cycle
- Material grade and chemical or thermal compatibility
- Dimensions, volume, tolerances and connection geometry
Variants and compatibility
Keyed, clamping and bushing-compatible hubs have different shaft interfaces and assembly requirements. Check bore tolerances, hub length and mating geometry against a drawing. Dimensional similarity alone does not verify torque transmission or replacement suitability.
Documentation and delivery
A dimensional match alone is not a replacement approval. Verify load, duty cycle, material, medium and installation against the machine documentation. Request traceable part identification and the relevant technical drawing. Pressure-rated or safety-critical installations require their own suitability review.
Confirm the required documents, packaging and delivery conditions for the selected item and destination.
